Mark & Rachelle Benishek — 2016

Our Story

Born From Lived Experience

In 2016, Mark and Rachelle Benishek were in a devastating motorcycle accident that left them both facing traumatic brain injuries and life-altering disabilities. The road to recovery was long — but one thing made an immediate difference.

Before they even came home, friends and family came together to remodel their house — making it safe, accessible, and ready to support their healing. That act of love changed everything.

Benishek Strong was founded to make sure every TBI survivor and family has access to that same gift — a home that says: "We've got you. Come home."

What We Do

Home Is Where Healing Begins

Home Accessibility

We help transform living spaces into safe, accessible environments — from ramps and grab bars to widened doorways and adaptive layouts tailored to each survivor's needs.

Safety & Independence

Every modification is designed to reduce risk, restore independence, and give survivors the dignity of navigating their own home — safely and confidently.

Family Support

We walk alongside families — not just survivors — providing guidance, resources, and compassionate support through every step of the recovery journey.

Beautifully accessible home renovation

Every home can become a place of possibility.
